Steve has been teaching classes and seminars with Judy in the areas of parenting and marriage for 15 years. He has been trained to be a Love and Logic parenting facilitator by the authors of the program. He has also been trained to be an Advanced Parenting Trainer by Nancy Thomas. He has a heart for healthy families and also for communicating relationship concepts in fresh new ways using multi-media technology and interactive teaching techniques. His passionate, friendly style of teaching makes classes impacting and entertaining. He has been married to Judy for 17 years and has two boys, Sam, 11 and Jesse, 6.
HeatherWarren, Secretary
Heather is an Administrative Assistant for Santa Barbara City College’s Foster and Kinship Care Education Program as well as Family Fuel. She has been a MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) Children’s Coordinator. She is a native of Santa Barbara. Her family was very unhealthy, which has driven her passion in wanting to help support what Family Fuel is all about. She has learned life changing skills from Family Fuel classes that have helped her develop healthy relationships with her children. She has been married to Rick for 13 years. Heather is a mother of three children, Ben, 8, Ashley, 6 and Moriah, 6, and a stepdaughter, Jenna, 21.

Jeanne is a retired RN who has been a Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) mentor for the past 6 years. Both she and her husband grew up in the Midwest and came to San Diego in 1960, thanks to the US Navy, and really never went back. She feels blessed to live in the Santa Ynez Valley. Jeanne was instrumental in the beginning of Family Fuel, as she hired us to do our first and second trainings for a MOPS group in the Santa Ynez Valley! She feels glad to have seen Family Fuel take off and become a reality in such a short time. She has been married to Lloyd for 48 years and has 3 brilliant and beautiful children and 3 brilliant and beautiful grandchildren.

Julie has worked with SBParent.com for the past four years as the Sales & Marketing Director. Julie’s educational background is Human Development (Family Studies) with a Minor in Psychology from Cal Poly. She worked at the Devereux Foundation for 10 years as a medical case manager. Her work experience began with direct care and management in group homes. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Angels Bearing Gifts. Julie was raised up the coast in San Luis Obispo and has lived in Santa Barbara now for 14 years. She has been married to Greg for 13 years and has two girls, Avery, 10 and Kyelee, 7.

Marilyn has her MA in Education with a Psychology major and Counseling minor. She is the president and founder of Dynamic Solutions, which develops and conducts seminars on self-esteem, conflict resolution, stress management, transition and growing through loss. During the past 26 years, Marilyn has presented her material to more than 85,000 seminar participants and has made numerous radio and television appearances. She greatly enjoys empowering individuals, families, schools and businesses. She currently teaches her classes through the SBCC Adult Education Program. Marilyn is also a trained Love and Logic facilitator and was the first one to teach Steve and Judy this program!

Barbara Finch is a graduate of The Colorado College and has lived in Santa Barbara for 28 years. She has worked at St. Vincent’s for 23 of those years, currently as the Program Director for PATHS, affordable transitional housing and services for single, low-income mothers and kids. Her experience includes direct care, behavior intervention, case management, recreation programming, curriculum development and life skills instruction. She also serves as Santa Barbara’s regional representative to the Coastal Tri-Counties Child Abuse Prevention Coalition. She brought Family Fuel to St. Vincent’s to provide parent education to PATHS families. She is the mother of Emily, 19 and Dylan, 13.
