We are available to meet with you to discuss parenting and your children

Often we are asked to do one-on-one coaching sessions with families. We call them coaching sessions because like a coach, we are offering encouragement, skills and support. We are not licensed counselors, and do not offer counseling services. Often parents are so “in the thick of it” and don’t see a way out. By spending some time with parents alone or with parents and their children, we can offer our experienced insight.

The advice we give parents is based on the Love and Logic Parenting philosophy. We encourage any parents desiring coaching to attend one of our 10 hour Love and Logic seminars. One reason we recommend this, is that many parents who originally desired one-on-one coaching have found that after taking one of the 10 hour seminars, they no longer felt the coaching was necessary. Another reason is to have a common language of skills and techniques that can be used with your children. When you attend one of these seminars, one of the benefits is free email “Parenting Tech Support.” Just email your situations to us and we respond. Typically, we do not put any limits on this free service. Our desire is healthy families and we will do what we can to assist you in the means we have.

If you still want to go to the next step of coaching, specific plans can be made on an individual basis. For example, we can meet at your home or at a park with the kids or at another location without the kids.

Cost: $100 for a one-hour session OR $150 for a two-hour session
